MG has launched the Cyberster in India, introducing one of the first all-electric sports cars to the Indian market. This stylish two-door convertible is designed for people who love speed, performance, and modern technology. It comes with two electric motors and all-wheel drive, producing 510 horsepower and 725 Nm of torque. The Cyberster can go from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds, making it one of the fastest MG cars ever made. It is powered by a slim 77 kWh battery that offers a long driving range of up to 580 km on a full charge (as per MIDC). Fast charging is available too, with the battery reaching 80% in just 40 minutes using a 144 kW DC charger. On the outside, the car looks sharp with scissor doors, a low and wide body, 20-inch alloy wheels, and a soft-top roof. The rear design, called Kammback, helps with better airflow and adds a sporty touch. Inside, the Cyberster feels premium with three curved screens, ventilated seats, wireless charging, and a Bose sound system. It uses vegan leather and suede for a modern and sustainable interior.
MG has also focused on safety and driver comfort. The Cyberster comes with Level 2 ADAS, which includes features like adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist, and warnings for possible collisions. It also has multiple airbags, a strong H-shaped body for added safety, and high-performance Brembo brakes that can stop the car from 100 km/h in just 33 meters. MG is selling the Cyberster only through its premium MG Select showrooms. The starting price is ₹72.49 lakh for early bookings and ₹74.99 lakh for new customers. Deliveries will begin from August 10, 2025. Early buyers will also get a 3-year unlimited kilometre warranty and a lifetime battery warranty, which adds great value and peace of mind. Right now, the Cyberster has no direct competitors in the electric sports car category in India. That gives it a unique edge in the market. With its high performance, eye-catching design, and long range, the MG Cyberster is a strong option for anyone looking to buy a luxury electric car. It brings something new and exciting to India’s growing EV segment and shows MG’s commitment to innovation and sustainable driving.
